Contributing to the community cupboard

Our Community Cupboard is open to all those in need in our Parish.

Anyone wishing to donate to the Community Cupboard please leave donations in the collection box in the entrance of St Mary’s Church.

We accept any ambient food, toiletries and household products.  We are also now accepting fresh fruit and veg but are unable to accept refrigerated or frozen products.

A good way to donate to the community cupboard is to buy a meal ie if you buy cereal please buy long life milk to go with it and maybe some fruit juice,  or if you buy a tinned chilli, please buy rice and kidney beans, maybe with nachos or salsa, or tinned chicken in a sauce with tinned potatoes and peas etc.

If you want to buy individual items then mayonnaise, tomato sauce, sandwich fillers, long life bread etc is always required and appreciated.
